Francis Pienaar is a cinematographer based in New York and Toronto, who focuses on narrative and documentary film, with a particular love for emotive, character forward, stories. He has filmed across Kenya, Mauritius, Guatemala, and throughout the US and Canada, with his most recently completed documentary, Talking Drum, winning the Spirit Award at the Brooklyn Film Festival.
